G.Skill International Enterprise announced the launch of a new high performance DDR2 memory kit that is aimed at gamers and computer power users as it combines low timings with high capacity, while also providing excellent running frequencies. As the new operating systems and software applications are needing more and more random access memory in order to operate smoothly, G.Skill comes to the aid of users with its new DDR2-1000, PC2-8000, CL5 4GB RAM memory kit that was specially designed and manufactured for use with Microsoft's Windows Vista.

The new DDR2 random access memory kit from G.Skill comes with a high running speed of 1000MHz that translates into the PC3-8000 standard, while also providing low latency timing of 5-5-5-15, which is better than the average ones that are typically found on DDR2 memories from other manufacturing companies.

Those low timings for DDR2 memory modules are offered by G.Skill on its latest product without sacrificing the running frequencies as this DDR2 memory kit is guaranteed to operate in a stable manner at 1000MHz. In order to achieve such high running frequencies, the manufacturing company increased the voltage over the one that is normally used, so this new DDR2-1000, PC2-8000, CL5 4GB RAM memory kit is operating at 2.0V and 2.1V.

For the best possible results, a six layered PCB board is used and the whole memory module is covered with the patented G.Skill passive cooling solution that allows for an optimal heat dissipation. As the new product from G.Skill is not aimed at running in a server environment, it does not come with an implemented error checking and recovery technology, nor does it use the buffered memory chip architecture.
