A student at the University of Connecticut was arrested twice for wearing a G.I. Joe Halloween Costume that got confused with a commando uniform featuring real weapons.

The Central Connecticut State University student got home intoxicated from a Halloween party.

He was spotted by campus police wearing a fake sword and rifle. The officer calling in the incident was not aware about the weapons being part of a costume.

A campus lockdown was called and Kyem's friends realized that he was the one causing the commotion.

The Hartford Courant describes him being charged with breach of peace, after which he had to post $1,000 (€740) bail.

He was told not to return to the campus until sorting out the issue with the Office of Student Conduct. Since he did, he was arrested again, this time for first-degree criminal trespassing.
