14 DAY TRIAL // Independent developer Milkbag Games announces the incoming release of FutureGrind on PC and on the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony.
The small-scope game is a skill-based stunt racing game with a twist, looking like a mix of Uniracers and OlliOlli, according to its makers.
FutureGrind is played on a track that consists of various rails, running through a three-dimensional environment, and you have to grind them and do cool tricks in order to rack up points.
That may sound easy peasy lemon squeezy, but some of the rails are blue, some of them are red, while others are white, and your futuristic motorcycle has a blue wheel and a red one.
Most likely, you already know where this is going. In order to discourage perilous motorcycle use, the future people have decided that different colors shouldn't mix, so you're not allowed to let the wrong colored wheel touch the wrong rail, or it's game over via a nasty short circuit.
As if keeping your balance on two wheels weren't hard enough already
Your goal is to get from the start of the track to the end in one piece, and if that's not difficult enough, you also have to get good at chaining tricks together in order to get the biggest score ever.
Points are awarded based on your performance while grinding the rails, either on top or on bottom, using boosts, or dangling, and so on and so forth.
In addition to this, you can also do flips while in the air for massive point boosts, and if you successfully transfer from rail to rail, you build up your chain multiplier.
