FutureDial, provider of mobile device content management solutions, announced it has added Apple's iPhone to its wide portfolio of supported devices for the company's software products used all over the globe by wireless retailers and carriers. From now on, stores can transfer customers' personal content like contacts, music, pictures or videos, from a wide range of handsets to any iPhone,
with just a few mouse clicks.

"As the iPhone becomes another hugely popular high-end handset, we wanted to make sure that our solution can help carriers and wireless retailers to accommodate the growing demand to easily transfer their customers' phonebook contacts and premium content when they purchase an iPhone," said FutureDial's Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, Mr. Shu Gan. "We are now pleased to announce the iPhone as an important addition to our supported handset list as the iPhone rapidly expands into the global marketplace."

FutureDial is the leading provider of mobile device content transfer and management solutions, supporting more than 1,000 all over the world. FutureDial's Retail Management Solution (RMS) is used by wireless retailers and wireless carriers at their service centers, Points-of-Sales and back offices to transfer all of a client's contacts and premium content - music, photos, ringtones, messages or video - from one phone to another. This is mostly used when someone buys a new phone and wants to have on it the content from the old one. The Retail Management Solution is operated with ease from a PC interface and centrally managed over a client-server architecture.

The Retail Management Solution from FutureDial also supports restoration and backup of personal data for mobile devices, these being very important functions considering the fact that, every year, about 70 million handsets are lost, stolen or damaged in North America and Western Europe, according to industry research reports.
