The game was launched on the PlayStation 2 home gaming console from Sony and on the original Xbox platform from Microsoft.

The title arrived during the month of August 2003.

The game can be classed as being a action title that is played from a third person perspective and includes elements from platforming, the shooter space and the puzzle genre.

The entire game is based on the television cartoon series of the same name.

The game was created in close cooperation with those working on the TV series and all the well known characters make an appearance.

The plot is based around Mom, which buys up Planet Express Deliveries and then takes over Earth with the crew of the show the only ones able to stop her evil plans.
