VoIp phone manufacturer Futiro is mainly focused on developing a different type of VoIP handhelds, that are functional but mainly attract by their award-winning design. The quality design in this type of phones has been largely neglected and Futiro's goal is to change that.

Although most people might already be accustomed to wireless VoIP phones, and would never want to go back to using anything other than cordless again, Futiro's Luna VoIP handset might make some change their minds. What's special about the Luna is its elegant shape and shiny black texture that differentiates it from all the other standard looking VoIP phones.

It is in some way similar to the fashion phones of the mobile phone world that do not come equipped with cutting-edge features but appeal to the public because of their design and quality. Futiro's Luna doesn't come equipped with an LCD display and doesn't sport any pretentious features you might find in other handhelds, but it does what it is supposed to do, be a phone, that is.

Although it isn't a wireless device, the Luna does feature a full telephone keypad, echo reduction feature and a hands-free function that enables the user to continue typing while talking on the phone. Luna is fully Skype -compatible and can be purchased for a price of $75.
