Soprano Charlotte Church cancelled a photoshoot for The Vanity Fair magazine at the last minute, because she was feeling emotionally and physically tired after a fight with her boyfriend, rugby star Gavin Henson.
"Charlotte was just in no fit state to do a glam photoshoot earlier in the week," a friend told the Sunday Mirror. "She'd had a hell of a lot to drink and looked terrible.
She also had big bags under her eyes as she'd been crying non-stop after another blazing row. She and Gavin were arguing into the early hours about her drinking. She cancelled the shoot to go back home to Cardiff and sort her head out."
Church also fought with Henson at the GQ awards in London, and was later spotted being comforted by her mother, Maria.
She confessed, "I'll give it two months, mum. I reckon that's how long he'll stay for, then he'll leave me. I can't bear this. I really love him but I just want him to be happy. I don't want to lose him. I don't know what to do."
A spokesperson for the star explained, "Charlotte went back to Cardiff for a non-work related reason."
