Nothing is more important than family in new preview

“The most important thing in life will always be family – the people right here right now.” This is how the brand new promo for “Furious 7,” the upcoming installment in the “Fast & Furious” franchise, screened during last night’s Super Bowl 2015, begins.

This will be actor Paul Walker’s final movie, as he was killed while production was still underway, in a one-vehicle car crash that also claimed the life of the driver, Paul’s good friend and business partner.

“Family” is just how the cast of actors working on this franchise describe how they feel about each other, so losing Paul is a blow from which they’re still to recover. The same applies to the loyal fans, who are yet to reconcile with the idea that the star is no longer here.

However, this new preview of “Furious 7” isn’t nostalgic for too long: packed in less than 1 minute are action scenes of such improbability that they make driving a car out of a flying plane, like it happened in the previous installment, a trifle.

The old gang is back, but this time, they’re fighting to stay alive and in one piece, after a tough guy played by Jason Statham seeks to have his revenge on them. In the time since the 6th installment, Vin Diesel’s character has developed the skill to drive his car from building to building high up in the air, and jump out of it at full speed and avoid certain death.

“Furious 7” also stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Kurt Russell, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Djimon Hounsou. It will be out on April 3, 2015.
