Resolution Interactive, a game developer that hails from Sweden, has announced the upcoming release of Furiae for mobile phones. The game is based on the PC version of Furiae, already available for Windows, Mac and Linux, and will be distributed by WAP Oneline.

Furiae for mobiles is set to bring gamers a RPG-like adventure that will carry them through fantasy and/or horror worlds filled with unique characters and creatures. The game features 14 "love interest characters", 32 creatures that can be "collected", 20 different environments, more than 100 magic spells and more than 100 possible endings, so it seems like players will have a lot of things to discover. Besides a captivating gameplay, Furiae also brings beautiful graphics, made by Linda Bergkvist, an awarded digital artist that worked to create environments and characters full of emotion.

During the game, you will (virtually) fall in love, unveil secrets, fight with weird creatures and solve problems - helped either by magic or by your intelligence. Moreover, Furiae lets you play with friends, online, hence it can offer lots of interactive moments.

"Furiae is an attractive game and it incorporates a new exciting business model for mobile games. Monthly releases of new game episodes will extend the standard marketing period of a mobile game," said Tim Saarela, WAP Oneline's CEO, in a press release posted on Resolution Interactive's website.

The official website of the game can be accessed at this address. For the moment, downloading the game to your handset doesn't seem to work, so if you want to play it (online), you'll need to create an account and register.

Resolution Interactive says that the new Furiae for mobiles will also be available from MyCoolMobile, a well-known mobile content distributor, via both its English and Spanish websites, but there are no exact details about when this happens.
