Recently we've seen the Twittelr scheme that was very similar to this one.
As Graham Cluley points out, after clicking the link, the unsuspecting user is taken to a log-in page that looks very much as the genuine Twitter site.
Of course, as in all these schemes, all you end up with is a phished account.
Don't risk your assets and the ones of your followers. Stay away from any suspicious links, even if they come from people you might know.
The latest scheme is identifiable by the fact that the tweet contains a Russian domain and the name displayed in the browser's address bar is “itwiitter.com” instead of “twiter.com”.
