Bounce! Bounce! Bounce!

Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 may be launched tomorrow, but what matters today is that you can laugh at one extremely funny bug from the game, by checking out the video below. I've seen bugs and bugs till now, but none of this magnitude... While it's not a calamity for the gameplay, it still manages to spoil a bit of the seriousness of the title. However, since it made you laugh it's not that bad after all...

Just look at that bouncing ball and all those players trying to hit it with their heads... Some of them must have hit each other at some point, because I can see that a player or two have fallen to the ground. It's highly probable that the bug comes from the demo version of the game, be it for the PS3, Xbox 360 or PC... If that's the case, Konami must have already solved the issue, although it would have been fun to see this happening every once in a while.

We now know why the developers of PES take pride in claiming that their title is better than FIFA: it's because the game is funnier thanks to a bug like this. I bet that those gamers who have seen the video below and will purchase the full game tomorrow will try to re-create the exact moment when the bug happened only to watch it. If the issue happens more than once, you'll have to think twice before tackling an opponent outside the penalty area and allowing a free kick to take place.

Back to the video, am I crazy or do those guys look like dolphins jumping around in order to get the well-deserved fish? Nice to see that they hang on to the net after jumping and that they take turns (or not) at bouncing in the air. Where's that Peter Crouch when you need him?
