Func Surface 1030² is made from a sort of hard plastic but has two interchangeable sides. You can pick up the top layer and flip it over whenever you like.
It is an improvement over the "sUrface 1030 Original," and it has a new cord clip too.
Also, the underside of the product has a special Thermoplastic Elastomer material covering it entirely. This ensures it never slides in the same direction as your hand, no matter how hard you press the mouse against the surface.
The Func Surface 1030² has a manufacturer suggested retail price of $34.95 / $39.95, which means retailers could have it on sale for one or two more bucks/euro. Sales will start next month (December 2013).
