Actress Reese Witherspoon is featured in the January 2011 issue of Glamour magazine, out on newsstands on December 7. In the interview, the star talks growing old in Hollywood, children and her love of romantic comedies.

Reese, gorgeous as ever, also graces the cover of the mag, dressed in a Burberry Prorsum flirty dress, capped off with a Neil Lane bracelet, Shery Shabani for Fragments necklace, and Fogal fishnets.

In the accompanying interview, the star talks about growing old in Hollywood. Though she’s only 34, Reese feels the pressure – but she chooses to shut it out and focus on herself instead.

She says that growing older is not something bad. On the contrary, each year brings with it more confidence, which is exactly what she’s experiencing right now.

Witherspoon can honestly say that she feels better and more confident in herself now than when she was still in her 20s. She also has the maturity to enjoy each moment properly.

“Femininity is an accumulation of age and wisdom and comfort in your own skin. I feel better – so much better now than I ever did in my twenties. I am calmer; I know who I am. And as a result, I feel much [more beautiful],” the star says.

As for the pressure in the industry, Reese is being down to earth about it, saying you can’t be at the top of the game for ever, there will always be a younger woman coming ahead.

“There’s always going to be somebody younger or [more attractive]. That’s why I like to say, and it’s become my famous line, ‘Funny doesn’t sag’,” Witherspoon says.

Speaking of funny, the actress says she’s a fan of romantic comedies, adding how, despite their silliness, they still remain true to life because they tackle topics that are universal.

“I love romantic comedies. I watch them all the time. I love all my fellow female romantic comedy queens, like Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner and Katie Heigl. I also think that the questions romantic comedies ask about men and women are universal,” Reese explains.
