Full Throttle Ahead: Autoevolution Launched

On December 10, 2008 at precisely midnight, the world said hello for the first time to Autoevolution, a complex and refreshingly original project that, even if it had been only half of all this, it would have still been a most welcome addition for all car and sports enthusiasts. Yes, of course, we’re proud of it, and it shows but, undoubtedly, anyone can understand why this is so by giving it just a single look.

Autoevolution might have taken a bit longer to reach full “maturity” than we initially expected, but they don’t say that you have to have patience to get only the best of things in life for nothing. With a young, passionate and very determined team behind it, its many categories and subcategories have been devised in such a way as to take into account every user out there who might be looking for some kind of car-related information. As it happens, this also includes girls and even the sometimes overlooked “laymen,” both of whom have specially designed categories where they can easily find what they need.

Speaking of which, while enumerating all the sections of Autoevolution would definitely be fun, at least for some of us, since we wouldn’t want it to be too tiresome or vexing on you, we say it’s best if you check them out yourselves here.

We should note, though, that with this project, the aim was not to create just another automotive website, but also something that would, from the very first, grow at the same time with the audience it addresses, while also being a fun and useful experience. This is precisely why almost equal amounts of attention have been paid to major sections such as News, the Vehicle database, the Testdrive section, Logbook and Sport, each of these divided in many other smaller categories, so that getting to what is of interest at a particular point in time is a breeze, as they say.

However, since, as Shakespeare once said “Thou doth protest too much” and we wouldn’t want that to be said about the team behind Autoevolution, we’ll let you do most, if not actually all the talking. Besides having the opportunity of meeting and contacting the entire Editorial Staff, users are also duly encouraged to provide us with feedback whenever they feel any is required. So don't be shy to do so.
