I know you were just waiting for the third faction of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars to be revealed. Looks like your
wait is over as the new issue of Games For Windows Magazine finally reveals the full details of this third faction.

So all you C&C fans know that, besides the GDI and the Nod, you will be able to play with some robotic type aliens. A post on gamespot forum shows some pictures and explains the details of this faction.

In the GFW material, Jow Kucan says that his next project is a C&C expansion, but maybe he is joking. Once you see pictures of this new faction you will realize that the alien units have a very "theilaxu" look to them, according to DDX2, the gamespot forum poster. As regarding the music of the game, Steve Jablonsky and Trevor Morris are responsible for it, and apparently, they plan to do a "throw-back" to previous past games by introducing the most popular C&C tracks.

From the looks of it, graphics are quite something, but one can't decide based only a couple of pics. What is new and innovative is that everything is destructible and the infantry uses a CoH syle cover system. As regarding the multiplayer mode, there can be a lot of spectators, and one player can act as cameraman or commentator for a match. Looks like EA is really placing emphasis on this C&C game.

The game is set to be released in Match 2007 and it's among the few strategy games which will be available on the Xbox 360.
