It has microfin design and is made of copper with anti-corrosive nickel plating

The New dual-GPU graphics card from Advanced Micro Devices might have a special, hybrid cooling system, but that doesn't meant there's no room for improvement.

Case in point, Koolance has introduced a water block made specifically for the Radeon R9 295 X2.

Because while a hybrid air+water cooling module is all well and good, a water block can still be better.

So if you happen to own a high-end desktop personal computer with a full water cooling system (like, say, the ludicrously huge and overkill Gigabyte WaterForce liquid cooling system), the Koolance water block may be the thing for you.

Assuming you don't go for something similar from EK or Aqua Computer anyhow.

The water block from Koolance is called VID-AR295X2 and uses a high-performance microfin (0.5m m) design, for maximum water flow.

The thing is made of copper plated with anti-corrosive nickel and has a weight of 1.41 kilos / 3.1 pounds (including the G ¼ threading).

The price of the Koolance VID-AR295X2 is $180 / €130 – €180. Although, if you're lucky, maybe your local retailer will offer a discount if you buy the item in a set (in case you are buying or already own more than one R9 295 X2 graphics card).
