Not long after Fujitsu’s waterproof Q584 tablet has been made available in the official American web-store, another tablet designed by the same company makes its way to the American soil.

This time it is the Stylistic Q704, similar to its smaller brother, that comes at a pretty hefty price. The device has an LED backlight bright LCD (with wide viewing angles) 12.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

In the processor department, Fujitsu offers a selection between Intel’s 4th gen Core i5-4200U, i5-4300U and vPro and i5-4200U, all from the Haswell family with Turbo Boost Technology and coupled with 4GB of RAM.

Other than that, customers will get 128GB of internal storage, two cameras (FHD frontal web-camera and 5MP FHD webcam) and USB 3.0. Users can choose between Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 and Fujitsu also awards Office in the bundle.

The base-model starts at a chunky $1,499 / €1,098 which is not an amount of money to be cast aside, so weigh your options before placing an order. In addition, Fujitsu doesn't specify if this particular slate is also water-proof or has any other anti-damage capabilities, like the Q584.
