Fujitsu Siemens Launches The New Esprimo Laptops

A new range of laptops with 3G and wireless

Fujitsu Siemens has launched a new range of professional laptops, called Espromo, that come with 3G support built in. Due to arrive in stores sometime during next month, the Esprimo line consist of three models: Mobile D, Mobile M and Mobile U. Common to all models
are the widescreen format, an elegant design and practical features, a port replicator and a second battery.

As 3G becomes more and more used, businesses are looking for laptops with a wider array of wireless options. The release of the Esprimo line comes after Fujitsu Siemens chief executive Bernd Bischoff said that the company will include 3G technology in all of its laptops. Executive vice president of infrastructure products at Fujitsu Siemens, Dieter Herzog told the press that the new range was: "tailor-made for business people who do not want to lose out on any office comforts while travelling", due to their integration of 3G connectivity.

The first model in the Esprimo series, Mobile D9500 is equipped with an Intel Centrino processor and integrated modem, LAN, wireless LAN, embedded UMTS/ HSDPA and Bluetooth. Mobile D9500 comes with Microsoft Vista Business pre-installed and because of its port replicator and second battery, it can be used as a full-fledged PC.

Mobile M9400 is the second model of the Esprimo series and it was designed for business people moving from location to location. It features a lightweight 14.1-inch wide screen and just like the Mobile D9500, it is equipped with an Intel Centrino processor and a full wireless network array. It comes with Microsoft Vista Business pre-installed too.

The last model of the Esprimo series is the Mobile U9200, designed for superior mobility. It is the perfect combination of mobility, low weight, long independency from power sources and full wireless options. With a 12.1-inch wide screed, an integrated ConfCamera and a port replicator, users can stay in touch or work from anywhere in the world.
