A bunch of Windows 7 “convertible” models will appear as well

Even confidential roadmap planning slides aren't confidential these days, as proven by one from Fujitsu that somehow found its way online.

The folks at SlashGear posted something that exposes the existence, or future arrival, of several tablets running either Android or Windows 8.

They are pretty evenly divided too: two of the former type and two loaded with the latter operating system.

We'll first talk about the slates that aren't really slates though. Fujitsu calls them “convertible tablets,” meaning that they will actually be laptops with rotatable screens or 360-degree hinges.

The first one bears the name of Lifebook T902, measures 13.3 inches in diagonal and will run Windows 7. The second is called Lifebook T732 and has a 12.1-inch screen and the same OS. Both run on Intel 22nm Core Ivy Bridge CPUs.

And now we finally get to the important part. First off, a product called “Bacura” will make its appearance, in all its 10-inch glory. It will be for the high-end market, so we suspect NVIDIA's Tegra to be involved, and maybe Gorilla Glass too.

Closer to the end of the year, a Stylistic Q5xx will make its presence felt (no, not that Stylistic). This one will run Windows 8, but will have the same screen size as above.

At some point between the Bacura and the Q5xx, a second Android model will be launched, called Volume Android for some reason. Like the others, it comes with a 10-inch display.

Finally, the Windows 8-enabled “new performance slate with attachable keyboard” will arrive in the market around the same time as the Stylistic, maybe a bit sooner.

For people who don't want to wait any more weeks or months to get a pad of some sort, there are plenty of alternatives already on sale or about to start shipping, some with the rare 4:3 aspect ratio, like Lenovo's new IdeaPad S2109, or small and incredibly cheap, like Ematic's eGlide Steal.
