The keyboard dock design of the Transformer tablet series certainly helped Asus gain a lot of fans in the Android slate market, but now Fujitsu is prepared to challenge the supremacy of this product line with a keyboard-friendly tablet of its own.
This upcoming “detachable performance slate,” as Fujitsu likes to call it, has just recently made its appearance in a leaked company slide.
Right now, Fujitsu’s diagram shows a device similar to the Lenovo IdeaPad S2 10, but this could all change until September this year, when the tablet is supposed to make its entrance into the market.
According to SlashGear, there’s also a chance that this slate will run Windows 8 instead of Android, which would certainly detach it from Asus’ Transformer series.
It goes without saying that at this point in time these are all speculations, but more details should arrive in the coming months.
