Fujitsu is on a roller-coaster this week, as the company has just unveiled a new Ultrabook hybrid model, which can be used both as a tablet and a laptop.

The Lifebook TH90/P benefits form a “shift hinge” mechanism which allows the display to rotate with 180-degrees to the right or left.

Fujitsu says there’s more to this machine than just dual-style use, so the product can be arranged in Theatre Style (tilting the display to facing outward) and Presentation Style (rotating the display to the right or left), too.

The device-maker has packed some impressive feats with this Ultrabook, so of course it will come with an impressive price tag. First off, it has a 13.3-inch IGZO display with an impressive 2560 x 1400 pixel resolution.

Moving on, the hybrid draws power from a 1.6GHz Core i5-4200 CPU fitted with 8GB of RAM and a 500GB Hybrid HDD. Other specs include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.

The device runs Windows 8.1 out of the box (complete with Microsoft Office Personal 2013) and is compatible with a digital pen too. The device weighs just 1.59 kg / 2.2 lbs and apparently will be able to sustain an impressive 12.5 hours of battery life.

The price for the Lifebook TH90/P is expected to be set at around $2,073 / €1,532.
