The Fujitsu model will probably cost a lot more

Fujitsu has been quite silent, as of late, in the tablet department. A few months ago, the company rolled out the ARROWS Tab Q335/K tablet for business uses, which took advantage of an 8-inch screen and came to compete with products such as the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, Lenovo Miix 2 or Dell Venue 8 Pro.

Well, it appears the company will be bouncing back soon enough with a new slate. The Arrows Tab F-03G has showed up in the Bluetooth Authority database, so it’s pretty sensible to assume the slate will make a debut on the market soon (as seen at Tablet News).

The tablet comes with a 10.5-inch form factor and has 8.5mm / 0.33 inches waste line and weighs 433 g / 0.9 lbs. Sure, it’s not the slimmest you will see, as it no way competes with the likes of the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet or Samsung Galaxy Tab S, but it’s not extremely fatty nevertheless.

Fujitsu Arrows Tab F-03G brings about good specs

Anyway, let’s see what specifications the new tablet will bring about. For starters, the 10.5-inch OLED display will offer 2K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels), which is quite comparable with what the Samsung Galaxy Tab S offers.

Moving along, the tablet offers the services of a Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz fitted with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card).

The tablet takes advantage of two cameras (8.1MP on the back and 1.3MP in front), DNLA, Miracast, NFC, MHL, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, aptX and Glonass.

Judging by the specs outlined above, we can say the upcoming Fujitsu tablet is quite comparable to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, except that the latter runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (the LTE model) and is fitted with 3GB of RAM, instead of just 2GB.

The tablet draws life from a hefty 7840mAh battery and comes complete with a finger print scanner (so does the Galaxy Tab S). Furthermore, the model is waterproof and dustproof, something that Samsung is not.

Last but not least, we’ll tell you the Fujitsu Tab F-03G runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and takes advantage of LTE (that’s why we compared it to the LTE Galaxy Tab S).

Forget about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S? Maybe

Anyway, it appears the slate will be launched first in Japan, but we don’t have the pricing information yet. Knowing Fujitsu, the company does tend to go overboard with pricing its products, so you might be better off sticking to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S instead.
