Fujitsu wants to penetrate the 8-inch business market

Most brand vendors offer an 8-inch tablet for the professional customers. ASUS has their ThinkPad 8, while Lenovo has its Miix 2, and Toshiba offers the Encore and Encore 2.

So it’s no wonder, Fujitsu is looking to throw something in the soup, too. The company is rolling out the ARROWS Tab Q335/K tablet, which takes advantage of the same comfortable form factor as the products mentioned above.

The slate takes advantage of one of the newest Intel Atom processors, the Z3735F and brings Windows 8.1 Pro to the tablet, which means you’ll be getting Microsoft Office on top of everything.

Like the ThinkPad 8 tablet, the ARROWS is offered with a protective cover folio which ensures the tablet won’t be scratched when placed in a case. The accessory is also a convenient way of placing the tablet upright.

Fujitsu will offer owners the services of MobileSUITE, which is a service platform that aims to leverage the use of applications, services and content in certain fields of activity.

System administrators are expected to beneficiate the most from MobileSUITE, because the tool should allow them to manage services, applications, user IDs and the likes more effectively.

Sadly, Fujitsu doesn't offer a smart pen like the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 enjoys. And for the time being we don’t have any information about pricing, but knowing Fujitsu, it won't come cheap.
