Nippon optics manufacturer, Fujifilm announced a couple of months ago that they would release a new XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lens sometime in winter 2013.

As most of us expected to get their hands on this fresh ultra-wide angle short zoom lens for Fujifilm X-mount cameras, the new Fujinon XF 10-24mm lens won't be released this month, according to MirrorlessRumors.

The new lens is expected to ship in February 2014, possibly at the same time with Fuji's OMD alike X-mount camera. Fujinon XF 10-24mm is equivalent with a 15-36mm lens (35mm format) and has a constant aperture of f/4 across the entire focal length.

Recent rumors also state that Fujifilm is about to unveil an all-black version of their X100S camera at the beginning of 2014, just in time for the CES tradeshow, which takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada starting January 7 through January 10. Would you consider buying the new Fujinon XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lens?
