More than a month ago, a rumor emerged that renowned Nippon manufacturer Fujifilm would be announcing its first weather sealed digital camera at the beginning of 2014.

According to MirrorlessRumors, trusted sources have confirmed that the Fujifilm X weather sealed camera will be revealed to the public in the coming three to five weeks, most probably at the CP+ 2014 show, which takes place in Tokyo starting February 13 through February 16.

As for the camera's specs, we already know that it will come with a high-performance built-in centered EVF (electronic viewfinder) and will be powered by an APS-C X-Trans II image sensor.

In addition to that, the new Fujifilm X weather sealed model is rumored to feature a double SD card slot, all packed in a body similar to the Olympus OM-D (E-M1 or E-M5) models.

For the moment there's no other information regarding its price, but we expect it to be a little more expensive than the current X-E2 model.
