Various rumors have been circulating lately about Fujifilm's upcoming weather-sealed X-series mirrorless camera and one of them revealed its name, Fujifilm X-T1.

Moreover, it seems that X-T1 comes with a few impressive features, including an extra-large electronic viewfinder (EVF), which seems to be the best of its class.

Previously we were announcing that the X-T1 would be arriving at the end of the month, but no actual date has been confirmed. According to FujiRumors, a trusted source stated that the camera would be revealed by the Nippon manufacturer on January 28.

Fujifilm will probably introduce the X-T1 along with a new weather-sealed lens, but details about this are yet to be confirmed. At the moment, we know that the camera will feature the same 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor found on the Fujifilm X-E2, double SD card slot, faster AF than X-E2, and will be priced between X-E and X-Pro series.
