But those of you hoping for a full-frame X-PRO2 will probably be disappointed by the following piece of information. According to trusted Japanese sources who talked to FujiRumors, it appears that the X-PRO2 will feature an APS-C sensor. Further details on the matter are yet unknown.
The new info might be great news for those of you who have your money invested in the Fuji lenses. So apparently, chances are slim that the X-PRO2 will come out and boast a larger sensor.
The X-PRO2 will be a mirrorless camera that will replace the X-PRO1. The device was made available for the first time back in early 2012, and two years later, Fuji is expected to roll out the replacement.
The camera arrives with a 16.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS sensor and a built-in hybrid viewfinder that combines optical and electronic elements.
The device has a 3-inch LCD screen on the back and features a wide array of buttons and dials around it, which is something that costumers have taken a liking to. The camera is currently discounted on Amazon, another good indication that the X-PRO 2 is coming soon.
