Today, Fujifilm has notified users that its team has found a problem with the movie function of the X-Pro1 digital camera firmware version 3.00 released earlier this week.

Because of this event, the producer has deeply apologized in the notice for the inconvenience that might have been caused by this update, and has released a new firmware package, namely version 3.01, which fixes this movie malfunction.

Therefore, if you have already installed version 3.00, then copy the downloadable file onto a formatted memory card, insert in into the camera, make sure the XF lenses are not attached to the body, and turn on the device while holding the “BACK” button.

Now, select and confirm the item as “BODY,” choose “OK” at the firmware upgrade dialog, and press “OK” one more time. At this point, the update process will start, so make sure you don’t interrupt it in any way.

When the installation completes, turn off the camera, remove the memory card, and turn it back on to verify if the update is successful by checking the firmware version that is now on your camera.

That being said, all you need now is the firmware file, which you can download by following the link below and clicking on the download button.
