After the major firmware update released a couple of weeks ago, the Japanese camera manufacturer, Fujifilm, has just released a new update for its FinePix X100 / X100Black cameras.

The fresh update addresses a single bug that occurs when you repeatedly press the shutter button halfway or repeatedly record images. This bug made the camera move the focus position and the distance indicator to near side.

The FinePix X100 / X100Black cameras have been launched in March 2011 by the Nippon manufacturer, and discontinued a year later. For those who still own one of these two camera models, this firmware update is a must if you want to fix this small bug.

Here is the complete 2.01 Firmware update:

“The phenomenon is fixed that in Manual Focus mode, repeated pressing the shutter button halfway or repeated recording images could move focus position and the distance indicator to near side.”

That being said, you can download the new Fujifilm FinePix X100/X100Black Firmware 2.01 from the links below.
