The firmware update applies to all Fujinon X-mount lenses minus the Fujinon XF 18mm F2 R

Fujifilm Adds PDAF and LMO Support with New Lens Firmware Update After today's 2.01 firmware update for the Fujifilm FinePix X100/X100Black digital cameras, the Nippon manufacturer has announced another firmware update for most of its Fujinon lenses.

The new firmware comes with two new compatibility features: Phase Detection AF and Lens Modulation Optimizer functions available on every Fujifilm X-E2 digital camera.

The update is available for the Fujinon XC 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OIS, Fujinon XF 14mm F2.8 R, Fujinon XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS, Fujinon XF 35mm F1.4 R, Fujinon XF 55-200mm F3.5-4.8 R LM OIS and the Fujinon XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro lenses with the remark that Fujinon XC 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OIS firmware only comes with a PDAF update.

Fujifilm X-E2 digital camera has been released back in October and comes with lots of improvements over its older brother the Fujifilm X-E1.
