The development team at Mode 7 announces that it will launch a beta stage for its upcoming Frozen Endzone that will start on December 5 and will be offered to all those who are willing to pre-order the title.

The company says that the testing phase is designed to allow fans to see what the game has to offer and the team wants to obtain as much feedback as possible in order to improve the core systems.

The trailer offers a quick look at the main features of Frozen Endzone and its unique art style.

The game is a combination of tactics-driven turn-based action and American football as played by robots, created by the same team that also delivered Frozen Synapse, with a focus on planning and strategy.

Frozen Endzone will be launched on the PC at some point in 2014.
