Glu Mobile’s Frontline Commando: D-Day game for Android devices has recently landed on Google Play.

Developers are trying to recreate the largest Allied invasion of World War II on D-Day, featuring actual beach landings: Juno, Sword, Utah, Gold and Omaha.

Make no mistake, Frontline Commando: D-Day is not a strategy game, but a pure third-person shooter that promises players the ultimate gameplay experience with console quality visuals, precise controls, advanced physics and full voiceovers.

The game includes no less than 5 single-player campaigns with 145 separate missions, based on the happenings in World War II. While the game is free to play, you can choose to pay real money for items that will make your life easier.

Frontline Commando: D-Day 1.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
