Violinist Lukas Kmit finds classy, funny way of showing he's upset

It's bad when people forget to turn off their cell phones at the movies, and it's perhaps even more annoying at the opera. Violinist Lukas Kmit found that on his own last summer.

As he was performing at the Jewish orthodox synagogue in Slovakia, Kmit was interrupted by the now-famous Nokia ringtone.

Though obviously upset, he didn't call out the person responsible for the interruption or anything of the kind.

Instead, he resumed playing – but he switched to a violin adaptation of the Nokia tune, much to the amusement of the audience.

It may not have been the harshest thing he could have done, but it showed class and excellent manners.

His gesture also proves that you don't have to lower yourself to respond to those who, one way or another, break certain social conventions.
