14 DAY TRIAL // Kate Winslet is usually playing it very coy when it comes to rating her own performance in James Cameron’s blockbuster “Titanic” but our eyes can’t be deceiving us: she was really good back then as well.
As part of the Blu-ray re-release of the film, which came out in 3D earlier this year, Paramount has released Kate’s actual screentest.

It doesn’t feature Leonardo DiCaprio as well but “Law & Order” actor Jeremy Sisto, which probably means DiCaprio wasn’t Cameron’s first choice.
Not that it matters today, seeing how Kate wasn’t either: word online has it that, before she got the part, Cameron auditioned other actresses as well, including Jennifer Aniston and Madonna.
