Paramount unveils never before seen screentest as part of the Blu-ray re-release

Kate Winslet is usually playing it very coy when it comes to rating her own performance in James Cameron’s blockbuster “Titanic” but our eyes can’t be deceiving us: she was really good back then as well.

As part of the Blu-ray re-release of the film, which came out in 3D earlier this year, Paramount has released Kate’s actual screentest.

You can see it in full below, embedded at the end of this post.

It doesn’t feature Leonardo DiCaprio as well but “Law & Order” actor Jeremy Sisto, which probably means DiCaprio wasn’t Cameron’s first choice.

Not that it matters today, seeing how Kate wasn’t either: word online has it that, before she got the part, Cameron auditioned other actresses as well, including Jennifer Aniston and Madonna.
