The HBO drama 'Deadwood' is closing the end and the character that made it such a huge success, the foul-mouthed Al, will no longer delight us with his imaginative and language skills when it comes to swearing.
Ian McShane, the actor that gave live and essence to the dirty brothel/saloon owner, has just signed for another big screen movie.
He will star next to Oscar winning Renee Zellweger in the horror thriller 'Case 39', in which he is to play the part of a cop. Meanwhile, until the shooting starts for the Paramount project, he will star in 'Hot Rod'.
Zellweger is a social assistant desperately trying to save a little girl, abused by her parents. In all her struggles, she receives help from the McShane cop but, immediately after they take the girl away from her parents, they discover that she might not be as she led them to believe.
'Case 39' will be directed by Christian Alvart and produced by Kevin Misher and Steve Golin. The screenplay was penned by Ray Wright and shooting will begin this summer in Vancouver.
