Ubisoft and Sony have announced that the recent From Dust downloadable title arrives tomorrow for the PlayStation 3 platform, via the PlayStation Store.

From Dust was released back in July for the Xbox 360, via Microsoft's Xbox Live Summer of Arcade Promotion, and also reached the PC platform, via Valve's Steam digital distribution service, last month, managing to impress a pretty large number of gamers.

Now, PlayStation 3 owners can finally enjoy the new God simulator from the mind of famous games developer Eric Chahi, the man behind cult classic Another World.

In case you're not familiar with the new downloadable title, check out Ubisoft's brief description of the title.

"From Dust puts players in control of The Breath, a mysterious power used by a primitive tribe to battle against the forces of nature. Players will use this power to help the tribe regain the knowledge of their ancestors. However, regaining this knowledge won’t be an easy task for players as the world of From Dust hosts volatile natural elements, including volcano eruptions and tidal waves."

We already had a quick look at the game on the Xbox 360 console, while the PC version was at the focus of a heated argument between Ubisoft and new buyers, who were surprised to find out that the title needed an always-on Internet connection, despite the fact that the French company made it clear that only a one-time check would be performed when the game is installed.

Now, hopefully, the PlayStation 3 edition won't be plagued by such issues and owners of the Sony console are going to have a great experience while playing God with a bunch of tribes people that can't really take care of themselves.

From Dust for the PlayStation 3 is out tomorrow, September 13, and will cost $14.99 on the PlayStation Store.
