Frogger Beyond is a video game that was developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Hawaii, Inc. and Konami Software Shanghai, Inc. and was published by Konami of America, Inc.
The game was launched on the PlayStation 2 home gaming console from Sony, the original Xbox console from Microsoft, the Game Cube and the PC as powered by Windows.
The title was released during December 2002.
The game can be classed as a mix of action and arcade and is played from a top down perspective.
The story that Frogger Beyond delivers start just after the main character has returned from the Temple of the Frog.
He is enjoying his simple life in the swamp and his birthday is coming up.
He is then summoned by the Elder Council for an important matter.
Because Forgger is now of age he needs to prove his worth by getting through a rite of passage.
Because there are 8 members of the Elder Council Frogger will have to visit eight different worlds where his will have to prove his skills.
There are a number of new traps and moves for the Frogger franchise.
The game got a over 80 score from a Nintendo specific review site while other more mainstream outlets gave it a more mediocre score.
GAMEPLAY HINTS
Defeating the first Boss
First, get the key to open the door to the fighting arena. After getting the key and opening the door, go inside and wait for the Boss to appear. Next, watch were he throws the barrels, and if they are in the correct location, shoot them back at him using the buttons on the ground. Note: Watch out when the Boss throws a lot of barrels -- you cannot shoot them back at him. Also, watch out for the coconuts that fall a little while into the fight.
