Almost a decade after the show ended, fans are still to lose hope for more

It’s been almost a decade since “Friends,” one of the most successful sitcoms of all times, bowed down but fans are still to lose hope for a reunion of some sorts, either on the big or the small screen. It’s pointless to still think of that, series creator Marta Kauffman says.

She’s talking about a rumor that started making the rounds earlier this week, according to which NBC had “confirmed” that a “Friends” reunion was in the works.

Don’t hold your breath for that, though.

“I’m going to clear this up – it’s not happening!” Kauffman says of the so-called reunion that would have brought Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc together again.

“‘Friends’ was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore,” the series creator adds.

Well, at least we’ll always have fun moments like those in the video above.
