Titanfall is getting ready to debut next week, and a new, massive leak has appeared online with details about fresh gameplay elements like turrets or ziplines, but also new info about the story campaign matches and what players will be treated to during these encounters.

Titanfall is a multiplayer-only first-person shooter that will debut next week for the PC and Xbox One, and later this month for the Xbox 360.

After a phenomenal amount of hype and a really popular beta stage, the game is eagerly awaited by millions of fans worldwide.

Unfortunately, developer Respawn Entertainment is still keeping a lot of different aspects under a shroud of secrecy, as it wants players to be surprised when they first start the new game and enter its online experience.

For those eager to learn more, however, a major leak has appeared online via Reddit, about new gameplay modes, new mechanics, the Generations "Prestige-like" system, and the story campaign.

First up, one of the new game modes, Pilot Hunter, has been detailed. As its name suggests, players will have to kill enemy pilots, thereby earning points on the scoreboard. While killing enemy grunts and spectres will not earn points, they will reduce the build time of your Titan and the recharge rate of your titan core ability.

As we heard some time ago, Titanfall will feature a special Generations system that acts in a similar way to the prestige system from Call of Duty, for example. When a player reaches the maximum level, they have the option to reset their progress and challenges while keeping their burn cards.

A screenshot with the regeneration message has been leaked, showing just what players are in for if they choose to start over in their progression.

New gameplay mechanics have also been detailed in the leak, as maps will feature turrets and ziplines. First of all, the turrets will have a big range and are deadly not just to enemy pilots but also to titans, thanks to their great lock on abilities. As such, players in titans will have to work as a team in order to take out turrets safely. Pilots, on the other hand, can infiltrate the nearby console and hack it with their data knives, in order to reverse the allegiance of the turret.

Ziplines will be scattered throughout different maps and can be traversed in both ways. They're quite handy when traversing the level. You won't be able to attach your own ziplines, however, so you'll just have to learn where they are.

Last but not least, the story campaign will be presented in 9 different matches, which are split between 5 attrition and 4 hardpoint battles. The campaign is presented in different ways to IMC and Militia faction members, so there is incentive to replay it.

Expect to hear more about Titanfall as we get closer to its debut soon.
