We're happy to be able to bring you the fresh drivers for one of the most powerful graphics cards to date, the Nvidia GTX 680.

The GeForce 301.10 display driver comes with the WHQL tag and brings a heap of new stuff, Nvidia notes. A unified version of this driver, comprising all these new features, will be made available in the near future, and we can guess it's a matter of weeks.

The biggest improvement of the GeForce 301.10 drivers is represented by the introduction of the FXAA anti-aliasing algorithm; it works up to 60% faster than the MSAA solution and produces results which match the 4x MSAA performance, occasionally exceeding those values.

Nvidia GeForce 301.10 also brings Adaptive Vsync, a new feature which almost completely eliminates the stuttering occurring when in-game framerates went below or above the locked value.

The Adaptive Vsync simply disables the Vertical Synchronization when the framerate drops and re-enables it when things are "OK" once more, as far as framerate values are concerned.

Other features worthy of being mentioned include the possibility of adding a fourth monitor on which you can run a completely different video application, tweaking utility, or in-game menus. Bezel Peeking hides portions of the game and makes the image look smoother, reducing the visual impact of the monitors' edges, while the Custom Resolution Management tool lets gamers easily choose the preferred resolution for their monitor array.

Download the GeForce 301.10 driver but note that it only supports Windows Vista and 7, with XP having to wait for the next unified drivers.

Linux users can follow this link for their downloads and be aware that the Linux version for the GTX 680 is 295.33.
