After the extended trailer we saw yesterday, Capcom has presented some new screenshots from its upcoming DmC: Devil May Cry title, currently in development at UK-based studio Ninja Theory.
DmC: Devil May Cry takes the established hack and slash series into a whole new direction, giving its protagonist, Dante, as well as its world, a whole new look, with the action moving to a sort of parallel universe and taking place in Limbo City.
As you can see above and below, however, there are still quite a few elements from the old Devil May Cry titles, including the classic Dante look that appears when the new version enters the Demon Trigger mode. Besides that, gameplay is looking extremely sharp, as are the environments that change when Dante enters combat.
Expect some more actual details about DmC to appear in the near future, not just images or videos. The game is currently slated for a 2012 release.
