We have one more piece of good news for the gaming enthusiasts who have chosen the AMD path: the new Catalyst Application Profiles pack is ready and tagged 12.8 CAP 3.
Like all the CAPs of late, this version comes in a separate .exe file for total flexibility and freedom of choice. The 12.8 CAP 3 brings a new CrossFire profile for Borderlands 2, while it also boasts flickering fixes for several other titles.
Running World of Warcraft with DX9 and changing the view distance to fair in a CrossFire setup often created flickering and this issue was resolved.
The grass texture corruption in Guild Wars 2 and shadow flickering in Depth Hunter have also been fixed, while reported similar issues in Stalker Call of Pripyat, War of Roses and Dirt Showdown will most likely be gone after installing the AMD 12.8 CAP 3.
