14 DAY TRIAL // Who hasn't dreamed about flying cars somewhere in the near future? French photographer, Renaud Marion, has recently published a collection of retro-styled photos picturing various classic automobiles levitating on the road.
The collection is named Air Drive and is based on the photographer's childhood vision of the 2000s. The photos feature a few classic vehicles, without any wheels, that appear to be levitating on the ground.
Among the vehicles we can see an XK120 Jaguar, Chevrolet El Camino, Cadillac DeVille, Mercedes-Benz SL, Camaro or a 300 Roadster that give a retro but futuristic look over what today's cars might have looked like.
For these shots, Renaud has used a 21Mp DSLR and with the help of Armand Mongallon, a skilled photo retoucher, he managed to create this unique photo collection.
As the guys from autoevolution point out, these are reminiscent of citroen's DS concept from the 50s.
