French Montana and Khloe Kardashian have been dating for a few months now, and though there are countless photos of them together, it wasn’t until just recently that they decided to start talking about their romance. The rapper did it again on Extra, where he was promoting a new album.

Khloe and French got together shortly after she filed for divorce from husband Lamar Odom, and for a while there, they did their best to make it look as if they were just good friends.

Right now, they are officially “on,” to the point where they’re not just talking about the romance to the press but also posing for lovey-dovey photos to upload on social media, and she’s even appearing in his music videos.

That’s right, Khloe is now a video vixen, having agreed to make a cameo in French’s video for “Don’t Panic,” which is inspired by the box office hit “The Purge.” Some of her fans did not care all that much to see her wielding a gun and acting as if she were a criminal in it, and thus deemed French’s presence a bad influence on her, but there’s no denying that the cameo made her “his lady” officially.

For the first time ever, French talks about the romance and sheds some light on the rumor that they were introduced by Kanye West, who is married to Khloe’s sister Kim. That wasn’t what happened.

“Everybody thinks that, it was Puff [Daddy], Puff was the one that introduced us… It was a studio session that’s where we met and I was like yo let me get her number and Puff gave it to me,” he explains.

He says Khloe is “the coolest” and the best, but refuses to elaborate on that. Smiling shyly, he even reprimands Extra host Mario Lopez for putting him “on the spot like that.” But it’s “all good,” he assures Mario, as the video below can confirm.

And if you’re wondering how a rapper might get along with the biggest family in reality television, French Montana says that he and the Kardashians hit it off the instant they met. He actually uses the L-word (love, that is) in relation to Kim and her mother and manager Kris Jenner.

“I love them. I had more love for them after I met them, they’re more down to earth,” the rapper adds with a smile.

We know this for certain: Kris Jenner also loves him, as she made sure to let millions of her fans know on social media. We imagine Khloe must feel the same way, considering she tweeted the other day that she knew French was using her for fame but didn’t mind in the least.
