S3NZU3, a hacker part of the Brazilian Cyber Army (BCA) claims to have breached a two websites owned by France’s Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and the country's Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy.

The first target is the site of the Aquitaine Regional Environmental Management (donnees.aquitaine.developpement-durable.gouv.fr) administrated by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy.

The second target is the Regional Directorate of Youth and Sports - Lower Normandy (drdjs-basse-normandie.jeunesse-sports.gouv.fr), of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

From the Aquitaine Regional Environmental Management site the hacker leaked around 800 names and email addresses, along with 43 additional records comprised of usernames, passwords, email addresses, and names.

From the Regional Directorate of Youth and Sports, S3NZU3 published the names, email addresses and passwords or around 100 individuals.

The hacker told me that he targeted the organizations because he considers them to be corrupt. Also, he did it for “freedom, peace and love.”

The information contained in the data leak appears to be legitimate. It doesn’t show up in any older data leaks and some of the individuals whose details have been compromised actually work within the ministries.

Note. Considering that the files published by the hacker contain some information that doesn’t appear to be public, along with easy-to-crack MD5 password hashes, I’m not linking to the data leak.
