Memup will soon be the latest company to enter the PMP market this year. It already has many appearances with good-looking portable video players, so this is also worth taking a look.

At a first glimpse, the portable media player sports a black glossy design and an ergonomic shape that fits great in your hands. The compact design allow easy handle and the possibility to take the player wherever you want.

Memup, the French manufacturer introduces its Orizon PMP. It sports a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 pixel 16 million-color LCD screen. The player features a 30GB storage capacity. In case this isn't enough for the user, the player has a SD/MMC slot for memory extension.

Regarding the player's capabilities, it supports DivX, XviD, WMV, MJPEG, and MP3 and WMA for audio. It also views JPEG, GIF, BMP file formats and has an AV input/output, meaning you can easily connect the player to a TV or PC and view family clips in full size images, but also slideshow memories with the loved ones.

As for the player's dimensions, it sports 13.5 x 7.5 x 2.20 cm and weighs only 231 grams, so it's easy to put it in any kind of bag.

Whenever the user gets bored with the music, he/she ca always switch on the integrated FM tuner, or record funny memos from friends, since it comes equipped with a microphone. When purchased, the player comes with a CD installation, an USB cable, a TV/AV cable and a pair of professional headsets with integrated volume adjustment.

Memup claims that the battery will give 4 hours of video playback. As for the pricing details, in Europe, such PMP will take about $380 out of your pocket.

All Memup products are available in specialized shops, superstores and e-commerce in France and abroad. Hopefully, the French PMP are going to be just as appreciated as their cheese, wines and cars are!
