Burger King is debuting a new, budget-style burger this fall. The French Fry Burger will be available starting September 1 and it is currently a limited-edition product.

According to FoodBeast, it will be tried out for a few months during this fall; yet, I don't know if it will stick on the menu as a permanent item.

It will be Burger King's alternative to competitors’ lower-priced products, particularly the Dollar Menu by McDonald’s. The fast food giant has already spiced up its offering in the low cost department, so Burger King must be aiming for a piece of that market.

The fry burger will go on sale for $1 (€0.75). It contains a beef patty and just four fries, as well as salad and dip for that price. It contains about 360 calories and it includes 19 grams (0.67 ounces) of fat.
