Gazillion Entertainment has officially released Marvel Heroes 2015 for the Mac, a free-to-play massively multiplayer online game by David Brevik, the co-founder or Blizzard North and co-creator of Diablo and Diablo 2.

A free-to-play massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, Marvel Heroes is set in the Marvel universe and combines action RPG and MMO gameplay elements. Players must earn access to their favorite Marvel superheroes and play as Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Hulk, Spider-Man, Captain America, and others.

The gamers’ mission is to create a custom Supergroup with their friends and expand their hero roster by just playing and progressing through the game.

David Brevik, CEO of Gazillion Entertainment, reveals in a statement that the Mac version of Marvel Heroes 2015 was one of the most popular requests from players around the world.

“...as an Apple fan myself, I am very happy to announce that Marvel Heroes 2015 has now arrived on Mac,” said Brevik.

“Marvel Heroes 2015 brings players our best gaming experience to date and Mac players will benefit from this on day one, including the ability to receive our 365 anniversary gifts. PC or Mac, it's a great day to be a Marvel Heroes 2015 player,” the CEO added.

The minimum requirements to download and play the game are OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion), an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 512MB video card (NVIDIA 9600m GT, Intel HD 4000 or better), 4GB RAM, 30GB free disk space, and broadband Internet access.
