You own an Apple iPhone? Well, then there's no time to waste. The iPhone Photo Contest, sponsored by Kelby Training, has just kicked off. Participation is free of charge, and you are required to send in what you think are the best quality pictures you've taken with your iPhone camera. Prizes include Apple / iTunes Store Gift Cards and a copy of iPhone Book, Second Edition.

To participate, you must first sign up for the contest, of course. Kelby Training will need your first and last name and a valid e-mail address, as far as personal information goes. Lastly, participants must select three out of five given categories, to which they wish to dedicate the artistic work. Categories include Friends, Pets, Family, Fine Art, and Office. This means that, while you're required to submit no more than three photographs, you will have to leave out two categories, so choose wisely.

There will be six winners picked in total. One grand prize winner will receive a $500 Apple Store Gift Card and a copy of The iPhone Book, Second Edition. Five others (one from each category) will receive a $100 iTunes Gift Card and a copy of The iPhone Book Second Edition each. Speaking of which, the books is a "show-me-how-to-do-it" guide that skips all the unnecessary technical details and “just tells you, in plain simple English, exactly how to use the iPhone features you want to use most.”

The Grand Prize Winner will be selected by iPhone Book authors, Scott Kelby and Terry White. The public will vote for one winner from each of the 5 categories on October 29 and October 30 on the iPhone Photo Contest website. The contest runs until October 24 (11:59pm Eastern). Winners will be notified on November 3 by email, but also on the iPhone Photo Contest website.
