Microsoft is offerings customers a plethora of reasons to visit its retail stores this Thanksgiving, including steep discounts on a range of products.

For example, the Redmond company announced that customers will be able to get free Windows Phone 7 devices when visiting a Microsoft Store, provided that they prolong their AT&T contract for an additional couple of years.

The promotion was announced by the Microsoft Store team via Twitter, and of course it comes with one ley caveat: supplies are indeed limited so users better hurry, even if the promotion started on Black Friday will only end just ahead of Cyber Monday.

Here are the details of the special deals from Microsoft Store:

“Starting November 26, pick up Windows Phone 7 for free at your local Microsoft Store! Get your choice of the HTC Surround or an LG Quantum for $0 when you renew your two-year AT&T contract. T-Mobile subscribers, you can get an HTC HD7 for just $99.99 while supplies last.”

But at the same time, the Windows Phone devices special offer is accompanied with additional discounts.

Microsoft Stores across the US have available 32GB Zune HD devices at a discount of $60.

At the same time, the Redmond company is offering a $150 gift card to all customers that buy a new PC from a Microsoft store by the end of this week.

Games such as Fable III and Halo: Reach are offered to gamers at a discount of $20, and the HP Pavilion dm3 can be purchased at $250 off.

“On Black Friday only, visit the Microsoft Store and receive $250 off the HP Pavilion dm3. Limited quantity will be available at this price of $399 (regular, $649),” Microsoft stated.

It looks like Microsoft is doing its best to attract consumers to the retail stores it has opened nation-wide, while attempting to keep them out of the outlets of competitors.
